Happy birthday to me!

Hi folks: Well it's official , as of today I've lived forty four years . I survived to see another birthday , but it's different now! Tom Bosley died last week as did a piece of my childhood. At a certain point I guess we all get old. Ive finally reach that point myself . So without waisting any more time here's this weeks poem :

Fate
By Lawrence R. Berger
Time stops for no one
from dust we came and
to dust we shall return.
The trick is to leave a mark while we're here!
Something that will outlive us and stand for all time.
I don't know what my legacy will be but it's high time I tried to find out!

Happy Days
By Lawrence R. Berger
Mr. C died yesterday at the ripe old age of 84
Richie was of making movies and had no comment .
Joni and Chachi were there crying and so
was Potsy.
The Fonz gave a stirring Eulogy
and Arnold Catered the affair.
I grew up on watching the show .
Mr.C taught me many things like the
millions of others who watched his show
i learned respect for my elders and how to be cool!
There are moments in life that you know
will affect you forever.
the loss of Mr. C is one of mine.
see you next week!

Bubble Gum
by Lawrence R. Berger

Soft and warm between my teeth
an old lover returns
sweet yet tangy inside my mouth
as over and over she dances
building ever more desire
slowly she turns up the heat
stoking the fire untill
her passions no longer confinable
she explodes ! Releasing the rapture of the moment.
And then
she slids along my tounge for
one more tango.

see you next week .

Brrrrr!

Hi folks:

There's frost on the ground already and it's only October 13, 2010. this new year is flying by! But there is a saying here in Rochester, NY : If you don't like the weather here wait five minutes .It will change! These days though its changed for the worse one day and better the next. It's totally unpredictable! I feel sorry for the poor weather man. Anyway here's this weeks poem :

Snow blind
By Lawrence R. Berger
The flakes fall like dandruff
on the winter winds . Time to get
out the snow blower and shovels !
Everything looks surreal
and the poor trees caught still green
shiver along with the rest of us .
see you next week.

It's getting cold !

Hi folks :

Well the temperature is droping rapidly . Fall is here here's this weeks poem :

Sunset
By Lawrence R. Berger
The leaves turn to rainbows
and there's a chill in the air
the weather gets wetter
and clothes get heavier.
The moon hangs out longer
and you can count the stars in the sky
another summer has come and gone
man I feel old!
see you next week.
