happy ha ha days 4

hi folks: well the count down has begun. another year has almost gone but its not quite over yet.
Yet thirty six hours is still long enough to write a new poem but today my thoughts have turned to an older one. I may write another but for now here's the old one and yes, its on the CD.

2o seconds to midnight
By Lawrence R. Berger
There's not enough time
quick
some body hand me the knife!
corks are poping champagne is flowing and blood
is Drip ping from my pen .
Lord help me there's just not enough TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIime
how the hell can you write anything decent in just twenty seconds?
see you next year.
