happy new year! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well , its 2009 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! and we're still alive , amazing as that sounds its really something to think about as the new year begins . I've been told i need a new poem for the new year so here goes:

2009

The Ox pulls father time's cart

into another year

Santa has gone to the beach house with Ms. Claus

and the reindeer are at the spa

I'm in my warm coat gloves and boots getting

my exercise by shoveling the driveway instead of

walking my two miles but you do what you've got to do.

The year has begun cold

but pristine

all white and shiny like the newborn child of storied legend

Maybe this year will make my dreams come true
