Well, that's about it for this week . Please continue sending me your notices for future

updates.

For those of you who don't know yet, I work as a poet/sales consultant for poets. If you want

my help getting your book out there, marketing a reading series etc. just e-mail me at

laughingl@yahoo .com  for rates and scheduling info.

Here's the new poem for this week:

 I Have a Dream

By Laughing "Larry" Berger

This morning I woke up

in an awful state of depression.

I had no hope

no joy

and I was totally useless.

Then I talked to a friend who had just gone to see their friend who is in a coma.

They told me their friend can"t even open their eyes and it was sad to watch them just lay

there with tubes hanging out of them.

I got even worse myself for feeling depressed despite my obvious lack of this ailment.

I have the use of my hands and feet, fingers and toes, eyes and ears and to some extent my

nose.  I have 30 years of sales and marketing training which I can put to use . Some folks

even say I'm a damn good poet.  So what have I got to be depressed about?

Today celebrates the birthday of a world class leader. One of the few we've had in the last 60

years or so who actually did everything he said he would do and inspired millions to

carry on his vision .  I went back to sleep and dreamed that everything would be okay. So

far at least that dream came true.

Thanks for letting me write this this week. It may not be my best poem but It's one

I needed to write.  Here are the book links.
