Local Rochester,NY Poet Cindy Blair will be doing a signing for her book Whispers to My Heart: Emerging From the Depths with God at 6:30 P.M. on Thursday March 14th 2013 at Lift Bridge Books in Brockport NY.   The store has also just started a Monthly open mic for all genres. 8. The Rochester Art Club founded in 1877 is one of the oldest continuously active groups in the USA! Check out what they have to offer at: www.rochesterartclub.org 

9.  I may not agree with his policy and practices, However, Joe Flaherty of Writers and Books in Rochester,NY has in fact kept his business running for 30 years and counting and despite the fact that there ARE over 150 other writers and literary groups in the area Joe has managed to convince the majority of Rochesterians that other than the area colleges, if you want to learn about writing and literature Writers and Books is THE ONLY PLAYER IN THE GAME! That makes him one of ,if not THE Single most successful business owner in the industry in the area in my book!
